RICE COUNTY, Kan. — The Rice County Community Foundation (RCCF) is pleased to announce the launch of its Fall Grant Cycle for The Community Fund. This fund is designed to support projects and programs that serve the community, align with the mission of RCCF, and contribute to the overall betterment of Rice County.
The Community Fund is structured to ensure fair distribution across all communities within Rice County, with allocations based on population. Now in its second year, this program has been made possible by the generous legacy gifts from Carl Dudrey and Kenny Knight. RCCF extends its deepest gratitude to these visionaries for their unwavering belief in the future of Rice County.
“We are incredibly thankful for the contributions of Carl Dudrey and Kenny Knight. Their legacy gifts have enabled us to continue supporting vital projects that make a difference in our communities,” said Craig Zwick, RCCF Board Chair. “The Community Fund is a testament to their commitment to the growth and betterment of Rice County.”
With over $250,000 in grants available, The Community Fund will support initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents across Rice County. Recognizing the unique needs of smaller towns, RCCF has also introduced a minimum threshold to ensure that even the smallest communities receive essential support.
Eligible entities are encouraged to apply for funding to help drive impactful projects and programs that align with RCCF’s mission. Applications will be reviewed based on their potential to serve the community and contribute to the overall improvement of Rice County.
