1969-2026

Steven K. Voth, 56, of Wichita, Kansas, died January 25, 2026. He was born August 7, 1969, in Hutchinson, KS to Eldon & Lois Voth.

Steve graduated from Buhler High School, Buhler, KS in 1987 and from Kansas State University in 1992. Most recently, he worked as an electrical engineer for Textron Aviation in Wichita, KS for 29 years.

In December of 2013, he married the love of his life, Kim Wycliffe, in Wichita Ks. The pair had met while working at the Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson while Steve was still in High School. They were able to enjoy more than 30 years together.

Steve enjoyed golf with his co-workers and friends, taking long walks, and had a passion for music! Music was part of his world as he played his guitars, built amplifiers, and attended rock concerts with his brother-in-law, Mark. He was a car enthusiast who loved attending car shows as he was in the process of restoring his own. Steve’s diverse interests even included learning Japanese in recent years! He was also an involved dog dad and took such good care of May, Feonix, and Ekko.

Steve is survived by:  his mother, Lois J. Voth, Hutchinson, KS; brothers, Christopher T. Voth, Littleton, CO, and Jeffrey L. Voth (Carrie), Wichita, KS, and their children Matthew Voth, Justin Voth, Wyatt Voth, Brock Voth, and Amanda Voth; father-in-law, Richard Wickliffe, brother-in-law, Mark Wickliffe, Panorama City, CA; Troy Eldredge (Stef) of St. Joe, MO; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Kim; his father Eldon G. Voth; and mother-in-law, Maxine Wickliffe.

Friends may sign his book from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. A visitation for friends and family will be held on February 6 from 5pm to 7pm at Eastminster Presbyterian Church (1958 N Webb Rd, Wichita). Inurnment will be held 12:00 noon, February 7 at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Blvd, Hutchinson, KS.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to, or in care of Elliott Mortuary, to the American Heart Association of Kansas, American Cancer Society of Kansas, or organization of donor’s choice.
