Steve moved his family back to Christine’s family farm, where they took up farming and custom harvesting.  He continued to hunt, garden and watch his children play sports and church activities.  Steve finished his working career as a school custodian and working at Doskosil/Tyson Foods.  During retirement, Steve loved visiting his children, hunting and taking care of his lawn as well as his surrounding neighbors lawns.  He was passionate about his westerns and visiting with family and friends who stopped by for a visit.
