Sandra “Sandy” Sue Koehn, born November 25, 1953, in Newton, Kansas, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Sandy was the daughter of Fred and Doris Adler. She graduated from Remington High School and later studied to become a CNA. She worked at Wheat State Manor in Whitewater, Kansas, where she cared for others with the same kindness and compassion that she showed throughout her life.
Sandy was a proud and loving mother to her two children, Andrew and Amy, and one of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her heart of gold, her caring nature, and her deep love for animals, especially her beloved Muffin.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Koehn; her mother, Doris Adler-Young; her father, Fred Adler; her brothers, Kevin and Russell Koehn; and her stepfather, Hiram Young.
Sandy is survived by her son, Andrew (Jessica); her grandchildren, Ayden, Hunter, and Adaline; and her many dear friends who will miss her deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cheney Community Church (formerly Cheney Methodist Church), 406 W. 3rd Ave., Cheney, KS 67025.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kingman Humane Society at 811 E Ave. C in Kingman, KS 67068.
