Sandra Lee Heim, 72 of McPherson, died May 28, 2026 at her home in McPherson. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and had lived in McPherson for 35 years, moving from Oklahoma.
She was born April 2, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter and eldest child of Irven Jr. and Shirley Ann (Hardin) Conner. Residing in Lehigh, Kansas, she graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1972.
On April 22, 1972 she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Keith Heim at the Canton Christian Church. They were blessed with three children, Craig, Andrea and Brandon. Keith unexpectedly preceded her in death on July 3, 1990.
Sandra was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her sons, Craig Eugene and wife Mallory of Hutchinson and Brandon Erick and wife Jennifer of Galva; her daughter, Andrea Jo and husband Charles Scott of McPherson; two brothers, Irven L. Conner III and wife Terri of McPherson and Mark S, Conner and wife Debbie of Hillsboro; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Victor Conner.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Canton Christian Church. Interment will be in the Canton Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Monday, June 1, 2026 at Olson’s Mortuary, Canton.
Memorials have been established with the Canton Christian Church or Reno County Hospice, in care of the mortuary.
