Robert Shane “Bobby” Gilmore, 54, of Raymond, Kansas, passed away April 23, 2026, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. He was born March 31, 1972, in Lyons, Kansas, the son of Robert and Beatrice (Moore) Gilmore. Bobby was a lifelong Rice County resident. He graduated from Chase High School, with the class of 1990. Bobby worked at Central Kansas Services, in Lyons, washing trucks. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Bobby enjoyed listening to music, fishing, and being with his family and friends. He is survived by his two sons, Sean Gilmore and wife Autumn of Chase, KS, and Michael Gilmore of Chase, KS; two daughters, Kaytlynn Joyner and husband Jason of Chase, KS, and Kambree Gilmore of Chase, KS; two sisters, Debbie Easterling of Chase, KS, and Pam Light and husband Mitch of Chase, KS; and three grandchildren, Bentley, Parker, and Darrell all of Chase, KS. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Vera Moore; and cousin, Sean Siebrandt. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Community Presbyterian Church, Chase. Memorials may be made out to Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
