Piper Alissa Schulze, 49, of Marquette, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at the Salina Regional Hospital in Salina, Kansas. She was born on August 9, 1976 in Lockhart, Texas to Alvin and Deborah (Riley) Schulze.
She graduated from McPherson High School with the class of 1994.
Piper was KU’s #1 fan.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah Schulze of Marquette; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Piper was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Schulze; and sister, Misty Schulze.
Cremation is planned with memorial services to be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Elim Lutheran Church, 403 Lincoln St, Marquette, KS 67464. The family has requested attendees to wear their KU attire in remembrance of Piper. Memorial contributions may be made to Marquette EMS or Marquette Fire Department in care of Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Funeral Home, 222 W Euclid, McPherson, KS 67460.
