Glenn was born in Wahoo, Nebraska. on September 17, 1947, a son of Imogene (Endres) and George Albert Hageman. Glenn attended Ithaca grade school, Ithica, Nebraska and graduated from Mead High School, Mead, Nebraska in 1965. He then attended the University of Nebraska, LIncoln, Nebraska with a Bachelors Degree in pre veterinarian studies.
She was born July 23, 1955, in North Adams, MA, the daughter of Helen (Bourdon) and Herman LaForest. Following high school, Carol attended nursing school at Albany Medical Center. She was a Registered Nurse at McPherson Memorial Hospital for over 30 years.
Deneen Lynn Krehbiel, 78, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 1:00 am, Friday, July 8th, 2022 at the Cedars House. Deneen was born in Watervliet, New York on March 18, 1944, a daughter of Ruthea M. (Merz) and George Lawrence Backer. She attended the Watervliet schools.
Bob was born on July 11, 1931, in McPherson, KS, the son of Axel Ruben Einar (A.E.) “Bob” and Bernice Gertrude (Hanson) Fagerquist. He graduated from McPherson High School, received a bachelor’s degree from McPherson College, and received a master’s degree from University of Minnesota Duluth.
Jeffery was born in Council Grove, Kansas on January 11, 1955, a son of Stella Marie (Brownell) and Clyde Jason Swisher. He was raised on the family farm which is where he developed his strong work ethic.
She is survived by her parents, Christian & Maysan; grandparents, Tim & Diana Groote, David & Hana Ritchie, and Joe & Brandi Magistro; great-grandparents, Beverly Borth, Mary Gesaman, Marvin & Adele Groote, Beatriz Alarca Garzon, Bill & Sue Foster, and Jim & Susan Magistro; and many extended family.
He was a member of the Galva Christian Church and Canton American Legion Post #192. Jim had a love for fishing, golfing and riding his motorcycle. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his wife and family. He especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Roger was a graduate of Nickerson High School. He worked as an electrician.
On April 29, 1978, Roger married Vicki Osborne, in Hutchinson. They shared 44 years together.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki, and son, Jedrik Smith, both of Hutchinson.
He enjoyed listening to Bob Seger and other classic rock, online gaming, and was quite a green thumb. Marc and his wife even built their own “hillbilly” garden with old wash bins and toilets. After his wife’s death, he continued to write letters to her daily and kept them in a notebook.
Dorothy Mae Wedel, 88, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at Moundridge Manor. She was born April 14, 1934 in Inman, Kansas, the daughter of Jacob K. and Anna W. (Giesbrecht) Friesen.
Byron Hiebert, 93, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Moundridge Manor. He was born on November 4, 1928 in Peabody, Kansas, the son of Peter G. and Lucretia (Holdeman) Hiebert.
