1982-2026
Micah Alan Inbody, born May 5, 1982, passed away on May 14, 2026. Micah often joked that he should have been born in Colorado, a place that reflected his love for the outdoors and adventure.
He was a bright-eyed boy who loved spending time at the home of his Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Frankie Wolf. As a teenager, he enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his brother and father, as well as working on and racing cars.
Micah’s life changed forever when he met Megan at his graduation party. Soon after, they began dating and were inseparable from that moment on.
Micah and Megan were married on June 1, 2003. Over the past 23 years, they built a life together filled with passion, joy, perseverance, and unwavering love. Through every challenge they faced, their bond remained unbreakable.
Micah was a loving and compassionate husband, especially as Megan endured many health challenges throughout their marriage. They help support each other through many difficult times.
They later welcomed their sons, Cole Sterling Inbody, Cade Steel Inbody and Gage Alan Inbody.
Micah developed a deep passion for fishing with a fishing pole in his truck, he was always ready for any opportunity. He also loved grilling, and riding his motorcycle — passions he loved sharing with his boys. His three sons became his world, and they adored him just as deeply. Whether riding bikes near their home or joining him on fishing trips, the boys treasured every moment spent with their dad.
His patience and laid-back personality made him an incredible father. You could see how much his boys loved him by the way they looked up to him and clung to his side.
Cole especially loved going to work and going fishing with him. Cole will miss his dad’s steaks and proudly called him a “grill master.”
Micah was known as an extremely hardworking provider, with calloused hands to prove it. Yet anyone who truly knew him also knew he had an enormous, soft heart. His kindness and warmth made many people feel like family almost instantly.
Micah was devoted to his faith in Jehovah and was a member of the Southwest Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Wichita.
Micah is survived by his loving wife, Megan Inbody; his three young sons, Cole, Cade, and Gage Inbody, his parents, Tim Alan and Tammie Inbody; his brother, Matt Alan and wife, Natalie Inbody, and their son Gavin and Sydney Inbody, his grandfather, Frankie Wolf; Uncle Ron Wolf, Aunt Cathy Salas and her three children and Aunt Kim Sims, her husband Mike, and their four children.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Wolf, and his aunt, Cecilia Wolf, as well as his paternal grandparents Ray Inbody and Nancy Duke.
A memorial service will be held on May 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the North Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3040 Jackson N Ave, Wichita, Ks. 67204
