Matthew Scott Fiedler, 64, known to family and friends as Scott, passed away on July 18, 2026, in Conway Springs, Kansas.
Graveside services will be held at the Fiedler Cemetery near Eldon, Iowa at a later date.
Scott was born on March 14, 1962, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Ted and Edna Fiedler.
Scott grew up in Coyne Center and graduated from Sherrard High School. After high school, Scott served in the United States Air Force.
Scott enjoyed playing golf, watching sports, science fiction and playing the lottery.
Scott is survived by his brothers, Michael Fiedler (Donna) Rock Island, Illinois; Marty Fiedler (Reba) Waskom, Texas; Mitchell Fiedler (Wendy) Orion, Illinois; and Marshall Fiedler (Cheryl) Platte City, Missouri; Aunt Doris and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Edna Fiedler, and his sister, Michelle (aka Chris).
Though his earthly journey has ended, Scott’s memory will continue to live on in the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
