Maria De La Luz Martinez Salgado, 52, passed away January 27, 2026, in Great Bend, Kansas. She was born April 22, 1973, in Mexico, to Jose and Alicia (Salgado) Martinez.

Maria moved to Kansas in 2011. She worked diligently as a homemaker, making sure her five sons were taken care of. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sons, Juan Ramirez, Erick Ramirez, Edgar Ramirez, Jobany Ramirez and Jonathan Ramirez.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, February 9, 2026, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Father Amir Duraisamy presiding. Burial will follow at Golden Belt Memorial Park. Visitation will be available from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2026, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Maria Martinez Salgado memorial fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
