1950-2026
Linda Marie Parsons, 75, of Hutchinson, died January 28, 2026, at Selah Assisted Living of Sunshine Meadows in Buhler. She was born August 5, 1950, in Hutchinson, to Alvin L. and Leota B. (Fisher) Coop.
Linda graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1968, Hutchinson Community College, and Adela Hale School of Business. She worked as a secretary at Carey Salt before becoming a wife and mother and then operated a daycare in her home for a time. Linda was a member of Church of the Holy Cross. She enjoyed crochet, ceramics, reading, and sewing, and cherished time spent with friends. Linda was active in Bible study and faithfully helped at her church and with funeral dinners. In her free time, Linda enjoyed walking at the mall, playing racquetball, listening to oldies music, and watching classic television shows. Family dinners were especially meaningful to her. Above all else, Linda deeply loved her husband and children, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and proudly watching their sporting events.
On January 19, 1975, Linda married Dennis C. Parsons, in Hutchinson. They shared over 51 years of marriage. He survives.
