Linda K (Feldman) Burkhart, age 79, of Lyndon, Kansas, passed away on February 8th, 2026 at her home.

She was born on April 9th, 1946, in Dodge City, Kansas to Harvey and Vivian (Lancaster) Feldman. She married Gary Lee Burkhart on September 28th, 1963.

Linda grew up on a farm by St Peter and Paul before moving to Kinsley, Kansas in 1959. After her marriage to Gary, they lived at St Mary’s from Sept 1963 to May 1964. They moved to the Burkhart family farm in May 1964 until November 1965. They moved to Jetmore, Kansas in 1965 until their final move to Lyndon, Kansas in 2016. Linda worked at 3J Ranch as their secretary/bookkeeper from 1972-1979. She then worked at Koontz IGA from 1979-1984. She became the Deputy Clerk of Hodgeman County, Kansas in January 1989 and then the Clerk of the District Court in 1989 and retired in 2012.

She is survived by her sons, John (Diane) Burkhart of Hutchinson, Kansas and Wayne (Amy) Burkhart of Topeka, Kansas. She had 7 grandkids. Andrew (Shannon) Burkhart of Hays, Ks,  Jonathan (Cami) Burkhart of Cheney, Ks, Tanner (Katie) Burkhart of Goddard, Ks, Adam (Ashley) Burkhart of Inman, Ks, Ryan (Raven) Burkhart of Cheney, Ks, Katlyn Burkhart, Topeka, Ks, and Nathan (Sydney) Burkhart of Eudora, Ks. She also had 13 great-grandkids with 2 soon to be born great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 sister-in-laws and 2 brother-in-laws.

Linda enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing with friends and family. She spent time in the mountains on their 4 wheeler enjoying the outdoors. She loved watching her old TV game shows.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026 at the new Saint Joseph Cemetery in Offerle, Ks with Father Tim Hickey presiding. Visitation will be from 9 am to 8pm Thursday, February 12, 2026 with family being present from 6pm-8pm at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, Kansas.
