Kenneth S. Crawford
1944-2026
Kenneth S. Crawford, 81, of Neodesha, KS., passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Wilson County Hospital. Kenneth was born on November 27, 1944, in Wichita, KS., the son of Lester E. and Evelyn (Chapman) Crawford.

Kenneth grew up in Neodesha and graduated from Neodesha High School; Kenneth joined the National Guard serving until he received his honorable discharge. On August 27, 1965, Kenneth married Joyce A. Wilson, that began a 59-year legacy of love and family, Joyce passed away on January 14, 2025. They lived a short time in LaCross, KS where Kenneth worked for the city as a city manager before returning back to their hometown in Neodesha.

Kenneth worked as a truck driver, making sure he was home on weekends. A stern father for the times, but Kenneth made sure he made the most of their time together by going camping or taking trips to the lake on weekends, or planning vacations with his family, he loved his family deeply and instilled the importance of family and faith. As a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Kenneth enjoyed all of the members and their families, and will be deeply missed by those who knew him and loved him.

Nine Grandchildren: Kristian Toms, Dalton Parks, Mialey Ruiz, Malia Curnutt, Adriana Hill, Conner King, Jacob Crawford Lillian Crawford and Alex Crawford.

Fourteen Great Grandchildren and One Great-Great Grandchild

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, wife Joyce, and infant brother Jerry, a granddaughter Danielle and a great granddaughter Chloe.

Cremation has been requested with a memorial service to be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Grace Baptist Church in Neodesha. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time, with inurnment to follow after the service at the Neodesha Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to the Grace Baptist Church in his memory and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Services entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home 420 S. 20th St., P.O.
