Judith K. ColeLawrence, KS

Judith K Cole, 83, of Lawrence, KS., passed away on Sunday, January
25, 2026, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Judy was born on April 27,
1942, at Junction City, Kansas, the daughter of Chester Wayne and
Mildred Ione (Henson) Ferry.

Judy always had a strong work ethic, working hard throughout her life.
She lived in the Tulsa area for many years doing photography and
sales, prior to moving back to the Lawrence area where she could be
closer to family. Judy could be found working in her flower garden and
keeping her cars spotless. She had a deep love for all animals and
was known to feed a few strays along the way.

She enjoyed going shopping with her twin sisters, especially Walmart
and Dillons. Mostly, Judy had a sweet personality, took care of herself, and loved
her family.

Janiece Hegwald (Jack) of Omaha, NE

Numerous nieces and nephews

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Don Cole.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas. Burial to follow at
the Piedmont Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the
service time.

Memorials in her memory have been suggested to the Lawrence
Humane Society and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
