
1944-2026
In November of 1966, John joined the United States Army and served until receiving his honorable discharge. After his return, John met Evelyn Lewis, to this union, they had a daughter Lisa, they later separated. John worked most of his life in the construction industry and would travel all over for his jobs.
John was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, when not tinkering around on cars he would either be out hunting or fishing and just enjoying nature. Being a hunter, he was a collector of guns, having the right rifle for the right type of hunting. John had a great love for his grandchildren and family.

Numerous nieces and nephews
John was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Robert Walker, Martha Allison, Carl Walker, Marvin Walker, Charlie Walker, Mary Lou Shinkle, Lois Taylor, Sharon Walker, Karen Walker and Eddie Walker.
Cremation has been requested with graveside services to be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:30 am at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to either Harry Hynes Hospice or Tri Valley Developmental Services and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
