Jerry L. GlassHutchinson, KS

Jerry married Shirley Glass on March 20, 1960, in Las Animas, CO. They were married for 54 years before her passing in 2015.  He worked for Consolidated Manufacturing for 23 years as a machine operator. He volunteered at AARP Tax Services and worked alongside Shirley for a number of years.  Jerry enjoyed watching Sci-Fi movies, fishing and spending time with his family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley Glass; daughter, Jacqueline Douthit; brothers, Gerald Glass, Harley Glass Jr., Carl Glass; and sisters, Charlotte Poland and Nancy Forbes.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Virginia (Andrew) Snow and adopted daughter, Terri (John) Lickteig; eight grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March2026, 2026 at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS.  To help offset the cost of funeral expenses, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made out to Virginia Snow and can be sent in are of the funeral chapel.
