Janet Rose Weeks passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center in Chanute, Kansas.

Janet Rose Weeks was born on March 8, 1946, in San Diego, California. As a child, she loved the beach, where she made many happy memories.

On December 10, 1963, she married her beloved husband, Dean. The red headed marine who stole her heart. Together, they built a beautiful family. She was a devoted mother to Robert, Carol, Raymond, and Rhonda, a proud grandmother of six, and a loving great-grandmother of five.

She will be remembered for her happiness, her accepting heart, and the special way she made those around her feel deeply loved. Her warmth and unconditional love were precious gifts that her family will carry with them always.

She was preceded in death by her father, James; her mother, Georgie; and her brother, Michael.

She is survived by her husband, Dean; her children, Robert, Carol, Raymond, and Rhonda; her seven grandchildren; her five great-grandchildren; her brother, Steven; her sisters, Diane, Debbie, and Sandy; and many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

Her beautiful spirit, loving heart, and treasured memory will live on through every life she touched.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home.
