1999-2026

On Monday, March 23, 2026, Jakob Michael Holloway passed away unexpectedly in Corpus Christi after struggling for many years. He is now at peace with the Lord, free from the battles he carried for so long.

Jakob was born on January 26, 1999, at Allen County Hospital to Brenda Holloway, her only son. Together, they shared a deep and cherished bond, creating many lasting memories side by side during their time together.

Jakob was an intelligent and gifted young man. Blessed with many talents, he had a natural ear for music and a deep love for playing the drums. He found joy in traveling and connecting with others, leaving a lasting impression on the many friends he made throughout his life. Jakob will be remembered as a good person with a kind spirit and a unique light that touched those around him.

Jakob growing up was involved in boy scouts, where his love for nature and the outdoors would carry with, he attended Iola High School where he was involved in the marching band. He later would move to Sante Fe, New Mexico and live peacefully in the beautiful mountains. Finally, ending in Corpus Christi where his battle would continue, Jakob fought for help and guidance till the end.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Holloway, where they are now connected for eternal life; his grandmother, Adelina Holloway; and his aunt, Patty Patterson.

Jakob is survived by his grandfather, Steven Holloway; his uncles, Christopher (Kenyan) Holloway and Michael (Brenda) Holloway and his significant other Elina Castillo; as well as multiple cousins who loved him dearly, along with many friends who will continue to carry his memory in their hearts.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, April1, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service. A graveside service and burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Highland Cemetery, Iola, Kansas.
