CANADA - Bernhardt, Helen L. “Gma B”, 85, passed away April 6, 2026, at Parkside Home, Hillsboro, Kansas. She was born in Winfield, Kansas, September 2, 1940, the daughter of David and Louise (Langloys) Weathers. She was a graduate of Lincolnville High School. On October 18, 1959, she was united in marriage to Marvin “Shorty” Bernhardt. She worked for Cooperative Grain for 28 years, as a grain merchandiser. She was preceded in death by her husband Shorty; and siblings: Bill Weathers and Sandy Knox. She is survived by her children: Dan (Sue) Bernhardt of Hillsboro, Dennis (Donna) Bernhardt of Marion; and Diane (Mike) Jeffrey of Marion; her siblings: LaVona Loveless, Bob Weathers, and Tudy Pope; 8 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the Marion Lake Hall. Interment will follow in the Lincolnville Cemetery.
