In 1989, Harold returned to traveling, working outages at nuclear plants throughout the United States. He retired in 2021 after an extensive career in the nuclear field.
Harold deeply loved his family and enjoyed watching college sports, especially Oklahoma teams. He enjoyed camping, spending time in the mountains, and relaxing by a good campfire. He took the family on vacations from coast to coast. Later in life, he was blessed with three granddaughters, whose many activities he attended with pride. He also loved to make people laugh, often teasing people & assigning nicknames to anyone he knew.
