Dwight Allen Koehn

Dwight Allen Koehn, 73, passed away on February 02, 2026 at McPherson Memorial Hospital in McPherson, KS.

Dwight was born on October 14, 1952 in Moundridge, KS to parents Freeman and Della (Koehn) Koehn.

Dwight attended Harmony and Galva grade school and graduated from Galva High School, Galva, Ks. in 1970.

After high school Dwight joined the United States Army.

Dwight Koehn was united in marriage to Betty Bruce on May 23, 1978 in Miami, OK. Dwight was then married to Bernadette McFarlane on Feb. 19, 2017.

Through the years Dwight worked in the trucking industry for various companies until he retired.

Dwight enjoyed riding his horses, motorcycles, working his cows, loved his dogs and cats, and spending time with his friends and family.

Dwight was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, LaVon Unruh, Judy Koehn, Linda Friesen and nephew, Lynn Unruh.

Dwight is survived by his children Dustin (Kim) Koehn and Levi (Kylie) Koehn of McPherson, KS; six grandchildren. Cody, Heidi, Chase, Parker, Ava and Oliver; sisters, Donna (Ellwyn) Unruh; brother in laws, Verlin (Starla) Unruh, Myron (Fern) Koehn, Lynel Friesen) and his dog Tucker and Maurice the cat.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Glidden-Ediger-Chapel, McPherson, Ks.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 3:00 pm at New Gottland Covenant Church, with Dan Perry officiating.

Burial will follow at New Gottland Lutheran Church Cemetery.
