Dennis Edward Augustine IILarned, KS

Dennis Edward Augustine II was born in Ellis, Ks in 1960 to Dennis and Mary Jane Augustine. He moved to Larned, Ks in 1975 where he would spend much of his life. He met and married Coreen E. Lowrey in July of 1979 and had two sons Lowrey and Joseph.

Dennis was a hardworking and talented man dedicating 40 years of his life to the carpentry trade becoming a master carpenter. During that time, he befriended many people in Larned, becoming well known throughout the small community.

In his off time, he enjoyed fishing, kayaking, painting, music and crafting elaborate and artistic wooden decor. He had a kind soul spreading joy to his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving family: Coreen Augustine, Larned; two sons, Lowrey (Rebecca) Augustine, Manhattan, Joseph (Carrie) Augustine, Larned; two brothers, Dion Augustine and David Augustine; seven grandchildren, Haden Augustine, Hallie Augustine, Micaelyn Haney, MaKenzy (Ryan) Rogers, Creighton Haney, Kaleb (Jaci) Augustine, Ceaton Haney; two great grandchildren, Drake Rogers and Adeline Augustine. Dennis will be missed but never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Doran Augustine, and sister, Denise Augustine.

Memorial graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 31, 2026 at Larned Cemetery, Larned, with Alan Mead presiding.
