Dale Cook, 93, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away on February 13, 2026, at Washington Regional Hospice in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Dale was born June 13, 1932, to Bonnie Lee Vaden Cook and Frank W. Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepchildren Billy Teter and Beverly “Sunny” Teter; and brother-in-law Larry Ganoung.

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 55 years, Barbara Jean Cook, whom he married on December 30, 1970, in Hutchinson, Kansas. He is also survived by his sister Bonnie Lee Ganoung of Northwest Arkansas; daughter-in-law Yvette Teter and her children, Taylor Teter and Austin Teter, of New Orleans, Louisiana.

He is further survived by nephews Mike Ganoung, David Ganoung, and Donnie Ganoung, and niece Michelle (Shelley) Smith, all of Northwest Arkansas, along with many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Dale graduated from Hutchinson High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy Seabees. He attended Hutchinson Community College and later graduated from Chicago Technical College with a degree in Architecture. He worked for Dillons Food Stores for 25 years before retiring.

Dale enjoyed many years living in the home he designed and built in Hutchinson, Kansas. Nearly three years ago, he and Barbara moved to Arkansas to be closer to family. Dale was a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Hutchinson, Kansas, where he and Barbara were active for many years.

Funeral service is at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 23, 2026, at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Monday.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
