Curtis E. Richardson, 49, passed away February 21, 2026, in Pratt, Kansas. He was born April 16, 1976, in Hutchinson, to James Eugene and Jacqueline (Clough) Richardson.
Curtis received his GED and attended HCC Vo-Tech program for woodworking and plumbing/HVAC. He worked at Collins Bus and as a maintenance mechanic at Tyson Foods. In his spare time, he went four-wheeling, collecting antiques, especially stained glass, and classic cars. He enjoyed listening to George Jones and country rap as well as going on walkabouts. Most of all, he loved bonfires with his family and close circle of friends.
Curtis is survived by: his brother, Jeff Richardson; sister, Trudy Haynes; close cousin, Marty Althaus; two nephews; two nieces; five great-nieces and nephews; and many other cousins and extended family and close circle of friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by: his parents; nephew, Jase A. Richardson; and grandparents, Clarence and Bessie Richardson.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
