Charles Edward “Chuck” Hale
1951-2026

Charles “Chuck” Edward Hale, 74, died March 4, 2026, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born October 1, 1951, in Fort Worth, TX, to Joe and Dorothy (Bennett) Hale.

Chuck graduated from Northside High School, Northside, TX. He worked as a drilling rig operator for Martin and Martin, TX, FALCO, Louisville, KY and Koker Drilling Company, OH. Chuck enjoyed attending the shooting range, playing foosball, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to spend time on the open road with his Harley motorcycle.

Chuck married Sally Ann Hoffman, together they raised three children, they later divorced. She survives.

Charles is survived by: his children, Lualice (Richard) Gibbs of Hutchinson; Edwin (Halley) Hale and Benjamin Hale, both of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Bridgette, Tristan, Camryn, Edwin “EJ”, August, and Truman; great-grandchildren, Persephone, Atlas and Hyperion; brother, Jody Hale of Texas; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; daughter, Felicia Armstrong; and sisters, Karen Marks, Nancy Hale and Mary Ann Hale.

Memorial gathering will be held a later date in Texas, service information will be announced.
