Betty Jo Martin
1956-2026
Betty Jo Martin 69, of Fall River, KS, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her home. Betty was born on July 19, 1956, in Wichita, KS, the daughter of Raymond and Phyllis (Busch) Gardner.

Betty dedicated her life to taking care of her family and raising her children. In 1977, Betty married Ronald Martin, and they later divorced. She was always appreciative and thankful for everything and everyone. In her younger years, Betty was active with her horses, and riding in parades, and was a previous member of the Haysville Saddle Club. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles, and going to rallies.

Being a granny of a large family, and also considering others as her own, Betty was known for being a great cook, an avid KC Chiefs fan, and a marksman when target shooting with her grandchildren. Betty also had a great love for her dog(s) Bella and Bonnie Jane. Family was her passion, and she will be greatly missed.

29 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Donnie Ray Gardner, Barbara Green, Mary Eileen Hayzlett, and Becky Connell. A grandson Michael McIntire, and a niece Tina Green.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:30 am at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia. Memorials in her memory have been suggested to the Gypsy MC International, which is a Traditional Motorcycle Club that offers charities and support to those in need, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
