Barbara McMinn, 54, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 18, 2026. She was born June 14, 1971, the daughter of Larence McMinn and Jeanette McMinn.

Barb worked for many years in housekeeping at Salem Home in Hillsboro. Her work family and the residents were a very important part of her life. She enjoyed gardening, doing diamond art, and visiting with friends & family.

Survivors include an uncle, John McMinn, of Hillsboro, KS; an aunt, Donna McMinn, of Hamlet, NE; many cousins; and her cats, Patches and Tumbleweed.

She was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Ronny Gene, and her grandparents.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 11:00 am at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro with Pastor Norma Duerksen officiating. Visitation will be that afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Salem Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to Salem Home in care of Jost Funeral Home, PO Box 266, Hillsboro, KS, 67063.
