Barbara Kay Hall, 82, died March 26, 2026, at Hutchinson Health and Rehab. She was born April 2, 1943, in Cañon City, CO, the youngest of eight children, to Coy C. and Nona Alice (Jordan) Vance.
Barbara graduated from Stafford High School, Stafford, KS, in 1961. She was an administrative assistant at Eaton Corporation, Hutchinson, for several years. Barbara came from a musical family; she loved listening to music and collected music boxes. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, and animals, especially dogs. Her greatest love was for her family; she would travel to Arkansas and Colorado frequently to see them.
On June 15, 1963, she married Calvin P. Hall in Stafford. They shared over 47 years of marriage, prior to his death on May 31, 2011.
Barbara is survived by: son, David Hall of Hutchinson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; and siblings, Vera Wilkins, Jack Vance, Virginia Henderson, Carol Curtis, Bonnie Bond, James "Jim" Vance, Sr., and Jerry Vance.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Peace Creek Cemetery, rural Stafford County. Friends may sign her book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the donor’s choice, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
