Barbara J. French-Gough, 93, of Moundridge, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Pine Village. She was born on January 25, 1933 in Stafford, Kansas to Frank and Jessie (Starr) Zenor.
She graduated from Hutchinson High School.
Barbara worked for JCPenney’s for over 30 years, working as a sales associate and catalog manager. She also worked for Wade Patton Insurance.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Vicki) French of Alto, TX, Steven French of Hutchinson, and Tim French (Missy McKenna) of Haven; brother, Larry (Linda) Zenor of Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother; and daughters-in-law, Jera French and Robin K. French.
Cremation is planned with graveside services to be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Buhler East Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Village Memory Care Unit in care of Buhler Mortuary, PO Box 589, Buhler, KS 67522.
