Anita Lynn CrawshawFredonia, KS

Anita Lynn Crawshaw, 86, of Fredonia, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at
Fredonia Regional Hospital. Anita was born on November 18, 1939, in Garnett, KS.,
the daughter of Vernon Dale and Willa Bella (Fogleman) Borror.

Anita was a graduate of Altoona High School, class of 1957. On April 2, 1960, Anita
married Bobby Lee Crawshaw in Altoona, KS. Anita and Bob were married for almost
66 years; he survives at their home. In addition to taking care of her home and family,
Anita worked for several years at ACC in Independence, at Fredonia Livestock Café,
and at Dollar General in Fredonia; delivered Meals on Wheels for many years; and, over
the past 20 years, was a volunteer with the Fredonia Regional Auxiliary.

Anita was strong in her faith and loved her church and its members. She enjoyed
working in the kitchen, cooking, canning anything from her garden, and volunteering
whenever she could. She also enjoyed making T-shirt quilts as gifts for graduating
seniors and for family members on special occasions.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, David Crawshaw.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:00 am at the
Cornerstone Christian Church in Fredonia. Visitation will be held on Friday, January
16, 2026, from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.

Memorials in her memory have been suggested to the Fredonia Regional Hospital
Auxiliary and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Online condolences may
