MARYVILLE, Mo. — The Hesston College men’s and women’s track and field teams wrapped up their indoor season at the 2026 Northwest Tune Up on Thursday (Feb. 19) at the Hughes Fieldhouse.
On the men’s side, Zachary Graham recorded a time of 24.82 seconds in the 200 meters, while Nick Win finished right behind him at 24.84. In the 400 meters, Justin Young finished with a time of 52.76. In one of the deeper races of the day, Ethan Gonzalez clocked in at 2:12.97 in the 800 meters. In the mile, Nathan Lewis led the Larks with a 4:40.07 effort, joined by Jack Hunter and Landon Lunsford in the same event. Distance standout Jonah Krumme earned a strong showing in the 3000 meters with a 9:44.06, and in the 5000 meters Ethan Thompson ran 17:34.33, followed by Sebastian Pavlovich.
On the women’s side, Krystina Clemons competed in the 400 meters, recording a time of 1:07.88 seconds. In the shot put, Keira Rankin posted a mark of 9.98 meters (32-9) to lead the Larks, while Ellie Smith contributed with a 8.20-meter (26-11) effort.
The Larks will begin preparation for their outdoor season which begins on Mar. 27 at the ESU Spring Open hosted by Emporia State University.
