PLAINVIEW, Texas – Tabor College Softball returned to the Lone Star State on Friday as they opened up a four-game series with Wayland Baptist. The series marked the first set of meetings between the two programs.

- Rachaely Yaya led the team offensively with two RBIs
- Yaya, Brea Grimsley, and Candince Moreno-Hairabedian recorded an extra base hit each, with each hitting a double
- Marisa Carranza pitched a team-high three strikeouts in the loss
