Wichita, Ks. The Bethany College Men’s Golf team took down the road to Wichita, Ks. to partake in the Crestview Spring Invitational hosted by Friends University.
As a team, the Swedes placed 3rd. The Swedes would have a good start to the tournament on Monday after great rounds from Will Briggs and Luke Tate. Both of them were 1 over throughout the first 36 holes of the tournament. Mads Hasenschwandtner would tie Brigg’s low round of the day, shooting 71 (-1) Monday afternoon. Aiden Lynch would lead the Swedes Tuesday posting a 72 (Even). Tate (73), Briggs (74), Hasenschwandtner (76) would round up the team scores for Tuesday.
Overall, Luke Tate finished 6th shooting a total of 218 (2 over), Will Briggs 8th with a total of 219 (3 over), Aiden Lynch would finish 13th with a total of 223 (7 over), Mads Hasenschwandtner 224 (8 over) would place him 14th. Beckham Sanguras and Taylor Hardin would tie at 242 (26 over) resulting in 39th. This result showed some great golf by the Swedes to kick off the Spring season.
