Emporia, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Track & Field team took part in the ESU (Emporia State University) Spring Open on Friday, March 27.
Dylan Brice continued to represent Bethany with another performance that was good enough for a B-standard result by vaulting over 4.80 meters. Braydon Bastin and Emmanuel Dukuly each set personal-bests in the 100-meter dash running 11.20 and 11.52, respectively. Gage Burk set a new personal-best in the High Jump by clearing 2.01 meters which converts to 6’7″.
On the women’s side Obioma Asiama set a new personal-best in the 200-meter sprint with a time of 30.24 seconds.

The Swedes will partake in the Friends University Spring Open from April 1 to April 4. The meet will feature plenty of Division I, II, NAIA, and JUCO competition.
