Swede Women Honor Senior Class on Emotional Senior Night

SHARE NOW

The Bethany College Swedes battled throughout Saturday evening but came up short, falling 80–72 inside Hahn Gymnasium. While the final score did not go Bethany’s way, the night was centered around celebrating a senior class that has meant so much to the program.

Becca Unruh paced the Swedes with 20 points, connecting on six three-pointers and providing consistent offense throughout the game. Colbi Rignell added 13 points and six rebounds, while Hannah Moss contributed nine points, seven rebounds, and five assists in a strong all-around performance. Tayten Dewey came off the bench to score eight points and grab five rebounds, helping Bethany compete on the glass.

Senior Night recognized not only Chloe Percy and Ray Richardson, who both saw action in the game, but also Janae Black-Harmon, who has been a key part of the program. Percy finished with five points and three rebounds, and Richardson added four points and four boards in their final regular-season home appearance. Black-Harmon, along with team managers Manda Graves and TaKoya Stallings, were also honored for their dedication to the team. Their leadership, commitment, and passion have helped shape the culture of Bethany women’s basketball. The Swedes are grateful for the lasting impact each senior has made on and off the court.
