The Bethany College Swedes put together a complete team performance Tuesday night, earning a 79–65 road victory over McPherson in KCAC action. Bethany controlled the pace throughout the game, shooting efficiently in every quarter and using balanced scoring to pull away in the second half.
Colbi Rignell led the Swedes with 17 points, attacking offensively and finishing 6-of-10 from the field while also adding four assists and four steals. Her ability to pressure the ball and push the tempo played a major role in Bethany’s success on both ends. Tayten Dewey provided a big spark off the bench, scoring 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting and bringing energy inside to help Bethany maintain momentum.
Halle Jones added 14 points, knocking down four three-pointers, while Hannah Moss chipped in 11 points and continued to battle defensively. Inside, Chloe Percy and Lilyan Walden combined for 12 rebounds, helping Bethany win the battle on the glass and generate second-chance opportunities. The Swedes also capitalized on turnovers, scoring 33 points off turnovers, a key factor in the road win.
Bethany shot 47 percent from the field and received contributions up and down the lineup, showcasing depth and composure in conference play.
