Kansas City, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Softball team had a long day filled with delays as they traveled to Kansas City, Kan. to take part in the KC NAIA Invite hosted by Park University. What was originally supposed to be two games (11:00 AM vs Columbia College Cougars, 3:00 PM Park University Pirates) turned into a long rain delay and, ultimately, just one game against the Cougars at 6:00 PM.

In the first inning, Kalee Aguilar hit a double and Ulissa Rivas hit a single, but the Swedes were unable to bring anyone across home plate. Bethany would not record another hit until the seventh inning via a Marissa Wells single, but nothing else came after as the Swedes would fall 0-7

Jordyn Stelzig drew the start lasting 3.0 innings before Dylann Baker threw the final 3.0 innings. Baker would only allow one hit while in the circle.
