INMAN, Kan. – Brant Mikulecky, a senior at Inman High School, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas. Brant is the son of Matt and Mindy Mikulecky of Inman.
Brant will be majoring in Computer Science.
Inman Baseball Coach Matt Mikulecky said, “We are extremely proud of Brant for what he has done on the ballfield and in the classroom. He has worked very hard to put himself in a position to continue his education and baseball career at a great university and an excellent baseball program. We are excited for his senior year, and future at Kansas Wesleyan.”
Brant has been an impact player at Inman High School earning All-Heart of America League honors in both his Sophomore and Junior seasons. Brant was class 2-1A KABC All-State as a Junior in 2022.
Offensively, Brant finished 2022 with a .446 batting average, 9 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run, 16 stolen bases, and 31 runs. On the mound, he set a new school record, striking out 80 batters for the season.
