McPHERSON, Kan. – The bracket has been set for the 28th Annual Mid America Classic Girls Basketball Tournament that is set to take place January 26-28.
The Bullpups will be in search of their 13th MAC Tournament Title, having made 22 appearances in the Championship game. McPherson finished fourth last year, but appeared in the Championship in 2021, they last won the tournament in 2019. (9-1) McPherson enters the No. 1 seed in the tournament, and they’re set to take on No. 8 (3-6) Valley Center next Thursday at 8:15 p.m.
Games will begin at 3:00 p.m. with No. 3 (6-3) Clearwater taking on No. 6 (4-6) Dodge City.
No. 2 (7-2) Wichita Southwest will follow at 4:45 p.m. taking on No. 7 (3-5) Olathe South.
The 6:30 p.m. matchup includes No. 4 (5-3) St. James Academy and No. 5 (4-6) Manhattan.
