McPherson, Kan. – Back on their home court after a week on the road, the Bulldogs welcomed the Tabor College Bluejays and the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes to town. McPherson looked to kick off KCAC play on the right foot, while Tabor entered searching for just their second conference win after a tough stretch of five straight losses. Meanwhile, Kansas Wesleyan looked to stay undefeated after opening conference play at 3-0.

McPherson got off to a strong start with doubles duos Taimi Nashiku and Bella Ellerbee, along with Vanessa Hofer and Laureen Van Drunen, who each picked up wins to lock in the doubles point early for the Bulldogs.
Hofer kept the momentum rolling at the #1 Singles spot, cruising to a 6-1 first set win before grinding out a 6-4 finish to secure another point for McPherson.
For the remainder of the match, it was all Bulldogs. McPherson dominated the remaining singles matchups, sweeping every match in straight sets, and doing so in emphatic 6-0 fashion across the board.
It was a clean sweep for the Bulldogs who claimed all seven points in the victory.
Wednesday March 25th vs. Kansas Wesleyan University

The Bulldogs set the tone early, sweeping doubles play for the second straight match to jump out front. Carrying that momentum into singles, Hofer kicked things off for McPherson in the #1 spot, grinding out a solid straight set win (6-4, 6-3) to put another point on the board.
Nashiku and Ellerbee continued the dominant play for McPherson, powering through the #2 and #3 Singles matches with commanding set wins of 6-2 and 6-1.
The final three single matches brought a bit more drama, with each featuring a tiebreaker. Maria Luisa de Lama and Eva Lesteluhu both edged out tight opening sets in tiebreakers before closing things out in the second to secure their points. Van Drunen took a slightly different path, handling the first set before digging in during a competitive second set tiebreaker to put the finishing touches on McPherson’s 7-0 sweep.
