Lindsborg, Kan. – The Bethany College Swedes Football team played host to the Ottawa University Braves for an interdivisional matchup. Both teams came into the contest 1-1.

In the first half, the defense stood tall only allowing 13 points by way of two field goals and a touchdown.

To open the second half, the Swedes would force a three-and-out before putting together a five-play, 62-yard drive that was capped of by a NeTaveus Johnson nine-yard touchdown scamper. Unfortunately, that would be the only score as the Braves would score 24 unanswered points to take this one 37-6.

NeTaveus Johnson led both the ground and air attack as a running back with 48 yards rushing and 25 yards receiving. On the defensive end, Cooper Bogenhagen tallied 10 tackles while Calvin Geans recorded two tackles for loss. Four Swedes tallied at least one sack in the contest.
