GOESSEL, Kan. – The Elyria Christian volleyball team suffered a heartbreaking 3-set loss to conclude their season with an overall record of 19-13, as they fell to Rural Vista in the opening round of sub-state on Saturday.
ECS would control Set 1 winning 25-13, but the Heat would make the adjustments to stop the Eagles in the next two sets as they would go on to win 25-20, 25-20. Macy Reiff led with 23 digs, Laney Reiff had 15 assists, and added 9 digs. Julia Allen had 10 digs and 2 aces, while Brooke Davidson led with 7 blocks and 4 kills. Raegan Hawkinson finished with 9 kills and 5 blocks.
