York, Neb. – McPherson Cheer competed at the KCAC Cheer and Dance Championships on Saturday, earning a fourth-place finish.
The Bulldogs posted a score of 80.48, finishing 3.46 points behind third-place Friends University.
In addition to their team performance, several Bulldogs were recognized for their achievements both on and off the mat. Award winners are listed below:

1st Team: Gretel Kinnersley
2nd Team: Felicia Aragon
Honorable Mention: Jordan Cook
Champion of Character: Melissa Rogers
The Bulldogs were recognized at this season’s KCAC Team of Character, an award that is voted on by every coach in the conference.
McPherson will wrap up its season in Daytona Beach, Florida, competing at the NCA College Nationals from April 7 – 10.
