HILLSBORO, Kan. – Bluejay Baseball opened up their 2026 KCAC slate on Friday as the team welcomed Saint Mary to town for the doubleheader portion of the weekend series. Tabor entered the day coming off a dominant win over Central Christian on Wednesday.

- With the win, Tabor improves to 5-7 on the season and 1-0 in KCAC play
- The game marked the 78th all-time meeting between the two programs
- Tabor currently leads the all-time series, 54-24
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Danny Zepeda led the way offensively with three RBIs
- Zepeda, Jayshaun Wise, and Eric Calder each saw balls fly over the fence as each recorded one homer
- Calder and Kaison Overbey each recorded an extra base hit, hitting one double each
- Wyatt Bauer earned the win on the mound, striking out a team-high four batters

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Easton Norris and Kaison Overbey led the way offensively with two RBIs each
- Norris smashed a two-run homer in the bottom of the 5th, also scoring Cole Schieffer
- Logan McGuire earned the complete-game win on the mound and throwing seven strikeouts in the win

- The Bluejays are back in action on Sunday as they look to close out the series with Saint Mary. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00pm.
