MESQUITE, Texas – Bluejay Softball continued their trip to Texas on Friday with a pair of matchups against teams from the Sooner Athletic Conference and the HBCU Athletic Conference.

- The game marks the 16th all-time meeting between the two programs

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Reagan Hammons and Khily Brower each recorded a team-high two RBIs
- Brower and Brea Grimsley recorded extra base hits, with Brower hitting a triple and Grimsley hitting a double
- Kailey Cross helped the Bluejays break the tie in the top of the 7th inning, hitting an RBI single and sending Keeley Brewer in to score

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Hailey Kobler led the way offensively with three RBIs, while Savannah Evans, Harley McLaughlin, and Khily Brower each accounted for two RBIs
- Evans recorded a team-high four hits in the win
- Lilliana Alamillo threw two strikeouts to lead the team in the circle
