MESQUITE, Texas – Bluejay Softball continued their trip to Texas on Friday with a pair of matchups against teams from the Sooner Athletic Conference and the HBCU Athletic Conference.

Tabor College: 8 – Mid-America Christian University: 7

  • With the win, Tabor improves to 2-1 on the season
  • The game marks the 16th all-time meeting between the two programs
  • The all-time series is now tied at 8-8

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

  • Reagan Hammons and Khily Brower each recorded a team-high two RBIs
  • Brower and Brea Grimsley recorded extra base hits, with Brower hitting a triple and Grimsley hitting a double
  • Kailey Cross helped the Bluejays break the tie in the top of the 7th inning, hitting an RBI single and sending Keeley Brewer in to score
