Bluejay Softball falls to Friends in Mid-Week Action

WICHITA, Kan. – Tabor College Softball made the quick turnaround a traveled down to Wichita to take on Friends in a mid-week conference doubleheader. Tuesday’s doubleheader came on the heels of a trip to Kansas City to face Avila on Saturday.

Tabor College: 2 – Friends University: 9

GAME NOTES

  • With the loss, the Bluejays fall to 12-13 overall and 4-5 in KCAC play
  • The game marked the 72nd all-time meeting between the two programs, dating back to 1980
  • Friends owns a 60-12 record in the all-time series

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

  • Mylee Milne provided Tabor’s offense by way of a two-run homer in the top of the 5th inning, also scoring Brooklyn Alexander
  • Jordan Smith threw a team-best two strikeouts during her time in the circle
