Bluejay Softball earns sweep over Highway 56 rival McPherson

MCPHERSON, Kan. – Tabor College Softball opened up KCAC play as they made the short trip to Highway 56 rival McPherson on Monday afternoon.

GAME NOTES

• With the win, the Bluejays improve to 9-8 and open conference play 1-0
• The game marks the 44^th all-time meeting between the two teams, dating back to 2006
• Tabor owns a 23-21 record in the all-time series

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• Kayla Garber, Candince Moreno-Hairabedian, and Xeanna Samifua each recorded an RBI in the win, with Samifua (double) and Moreno-Hairabedian (triple) each recording an extra base hit
• Brea Grimsley and Hailey Kobler each stole a base in the win
• Marisa Carranza earned the win in the circle, throwing two strikeouts through six innings pitched
