HILLSBORO, Kan. – After having a chance to prove themselves against a solid nationally-ranked conference opponent on Saturday, the Bluejay men put up a strong fight against a talented team from Ottawa.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Niieihii Blackbear led the Bluejay offense with 13 points
- Jackson Baer finished with 11 points, while Marque Wilkerson, Zach Hiebert, and Jake Weaver each added 10 points to round out the squad in double-figures
- Baer was lights-out from three, going 3-4 from downtown
- Hiebert and Kam Kaniper dished out four assists
- Weaver hauled in eight total rebounds
