McPHERSON, Kan. — All McPherson High School Alumni are invited to join the fun on Saturday, Aug. 3 for a Scavenger Hunt on Main Street for the 2024 MHS Class Reunion!
This year, the scavenger hunt includes clue sheets, punch cards and mini posters with pictures of addresses from back in the day and current day. Posted on store windows will be history of what businesses used to be there.
Clue sheets and punch cards will be available at the Community Building Friday evening.
There are 26 businesses participating in the scavenger hunt. Most will be giving discounts, gift with purchase or treats to alumni coming through their stores. According to Michele Peel, all businesses are excited about the event.
“We really want to get alumni excited about participating!” She added.
Each individual class will have a gathering Saturday evening and three prizes will be awarded.
The McPherson Convention and Visitors Bureau and the McPherson Museum are donating three prizes per class to be given away at their Saturday evening celebration.
